Kick off your Holiday Season at Summerseat

 

Summerseat Carol Sing

7 – 9 PM

 

Summerseat hosts a Christmas Carol Sing in our Washington Hall. Jim Gafgen, a well known international tenor will lead us in a joyful evening of song.  Remember what it is like to join in

joyous singing with friends and neighbors as we kick off the Holiday Season in Historic Summerseat. 

Homemade cookies and punch will be served immediately

after this happy event.

Summerseat Remembers

 

Saturday Dec. 3 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Summerseat, a National Historic Landmark, will have a Christmas Open House, Summerseat Remembers. 

George Washington, and his troops, arrives at 10:45 AM in Sam Snipe’s carriage. Talk to a Colonial Surgeon and enjoy our fantasy Christmas room filled with Gingerbread houses. Enjoy our display of Lionel, American Flyer, toy, and narrow scale trains, basket raffle, bake sale, free tours.  Bring your family and have our delicious homemade soup for lunch in our Victorian room. 

Free Tours at Summerseat on first Saturday of every month from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

HISTORIC MORRISVILLE SOCIETY HOSTING CHRISTMAS
TREE TOUR ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10

Peek inside two of Morrisville’s most beautiful homes this season with a special Christmas Tree Tour on Saturday, December 10, from 12 noon – 4 pm!

The Christmas Tree Tour starts at 902 North Pennsylvania Avenue in Morrisville (also known as 904 Yardley-Makefield Road) at the home of Ernest and Joan Napoleon who have beautifully decorated eight trees throughout the first floor of their home. Visitors will marvel at the pink-and-white Victorian tree, the music tree, the animals of the forest tree, the 12 Days of Christmas tree, and many more!

The Christmas Tree Tour concludes at historic Summerseat located at Hillcrest and Legion Avenues where re-enactors Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Barclay will greet visitors who can view the many trees decorated by the Makefield Lakes Garden Club and then enjoy light refreshments.

Tickets are $10 per person and will benefit Historic Morrisville Society.
